Protostars Season 3 Applications Open Now

Desperately seeking artists, activists, scientists, mathematicians, theatre makers, poets and more...

We're giving away grants of up to $1,000 to young, passionate wild hearts (18-25) working on passion projects in Australia or New Zealand. This is Season 3 of Protostars. Seasons 1 and 2 were jam-packed full of wild, creative, diverse projects, including a community garden, robots, a queer poetry zine, theatre shows about menstruation, egyptology, Cubesatelites, art curation apps, and so much more. Take a closer look at some of the Protostars we funded last time.

In addition to the grant money, you’ll join a cohort of like-minded creatives as we work towards launching our passion projects. At the end of the program, we’ll host an exhibition designed to help get further support for your work, and showcase everything we achieve together

Applications close on February 20th. It’s a super simple process - just answer 4 questions about your project plus a few more about yourself and you’re done.
